Training

DUSAC is a branch of the British Sub-Aqua Club (BS-AC).

BS-AC training teaches you all the skills you need to go from beginner to experienced sports diver and dive instructor.

As well as learning how to dive, DUSAC members also learn many other skills: boat-handling, marine radio use, rescue management, diving first aid and oxygen use, nitrox blending and use, dive marshalling, chartwork and more.

We also encourage our members to train as BS-AC instructors and go on to train future club members.

Wherever possible, training is given by more experienced and qualified club members. This means our costs are minimal when compared with commercially-run sport-diving schools.
